Unfortunately, I do not know who made it. There was no box or label. I love it though.
I saw this outside toilet and knew I had to have it. It is made of resin. I haven't needed to touch it at all. It is perfect just the way it is.
I love all the little details that are all round the outside and inside. There is even a hole in the back pre prepared for lighting at a later point. Something I think would be great for the future.
It is just waiting now for the right character to be found in here with a shocked look on his face. Judging by the artisans that were at the Miniatura earlier this month, I should be able to find one next time I go there. This building is just crying out for a more unique person I think.
A great find!

thank you
DeleteI love it but here in Australia the outside loo wasn't connected to water, just had a pan that was taken away each week and an empty one in it's place. They were always way down the back-yard and full of horrible spiders and often had a vine or creeper growing over the top. Never an enjoyable visit especially in the night!!

oh my goodness, that would not be good for me, I usually awake in the night and need a trip lol
DeleteIt is an exciting purchase. I remember that toilet from my childhood, when we visited some family on the country. It was really cross-border having to use the toilet there. There was no water connected, it was just a "barrel" and you could see other people's droppings.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing your character to your toilet.

Deletethank you everyone for your comments. I can think of so many ideas for this and all comical. Trying to decide at the moment whether to pluck up the courage to attempt making a character myself for it. :)
