Back to the books

I had another little dabble at making some mini books for my 24th scale cottage shelf.  I have been feeling guilty because I still haven't finished filling the shelf so it can be put back in place.  The thing is, once this shelf is finished, I have two more to fill up although they are 12th scale instead.

Here are the ones I have made so far

I still have so many more to make haha.  I do not make things easy for myself I know but I will at least be happy with the result.

I just need to be strict with myself and get on with it :)

Does anyone else have an ongoing project that seems to be in for the long haul? and if so, how do you keep motivated to keep going at it?  I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Knitting Various Sizes

I recently decided to make further progress with my knitting as I had loads of wool and not much patience continuing to make books for the 24th shelf.

I have completed my first beanie for my hujoo dolls.  To be honest, there is room for improvement but, I am pleased that I have completed something.  I will be experimenting with different types of wool and I think I will use a different stitch on the main part of the hat next time.

Because I am not the quickest knitter, I have started knitting a simple scarf using shaded wool ready for winter.  It is from a free pattern from www.audknits.com called Gentle Stripes Scarf.

It is such a simple pattern to knit whilst I am watching the TV without having to worry.  Here is my progress so far...

So far so good with this one haha.  Hopefully it wont take long for this to be finished now as I have recently bought some crotchet cotton to do a little mini knitting.

Advice Please

For those of you bloggers out there who have several interests, how do you sort your blogs.  Do you prefer to sort by pages or starting new blogs on new topics?

I ask because I need to consider how to continue? I am keeping this one going but I want to keep it moving forward whilst keeping more in touch with others who have similar interests.

Your feedback would be most welcome.

In other news, I have made a few more books but not as many as I would have liked.  Therefore, I have no photos to show at the moment.  I must admit, I prefer to show photos to make my blog stand out more but, I have nothing currently.

Besides the mini books, I have also been doing a bit of knitting, and have started a scarf.  I am not a fantastic knitter and I started it now in the hopes that it will be ready by winter.  Now this brings me to a bit of a problem.  I started this blog when I only really concentrated on miniatures.  Since then, my hobbies have expanded.  As they have expanded, I seem to have lost touch with commenting on other peoples blogs and have less comments on mine so, my question is this
